First Flight

A historic day for McKenzie and I. We had our first sucessful flight of a modle rocket. Parachute deployed and it returned to earth with only a minor chip off one of the fins that hit directly on touchdown in a concrete parking lot.


We are now acquiring a second rocket for her to construct and decorate/paint. Thank you HobbyLobby and Estes for making this an affordable hobby for us.


Astros game tonite, another first for McKenzie.
