2nd day in Amsterdam

Well, everything they say is in Amsterdam, is really here.

Well, one thing wasn't - we walked about a mile to the Museum of Technology to find out it moved and renamed itself to the Science Center. Bummer.


Our hostel is 45 Euro each per night .. not bad, based on location and the free breakfast is actually pretty good, would spend 5-10 Euro on that alone.

Fresh towels every day - hey - nice, and it above a sports bar...so very close entertainment.

The cheapest you can buy a 0.2 Liter soda is about 2 Euro (around $2.50 US)

Exchange rates sucks...but that international travel.

Lots of tiny street to travel, but the GPS system has come in handy a few times already.

Train ride from airport was smooth sailing and the station is about 5 minutes from hostel when its time to head to Berlin, which will be sunday morning. It gets dark about 11pm because of time of year.
