McKenzie and I were in a Walmart waiting on an oil change, and decided to have breakfast at the built-in McDonald's.
I overhear "Sit down Amber. Sit down. Sit. Sit. Sit. Sit down."
I turn around to see what kind of dog the lady brought into Walmart, but I see some twin boys about age two, and a little girl who must be 9 months younger than the brothers. Apparently Amber was the little girl who wouldn't sit right in the buggy.
One of the three kids said something to the mother (again, all kids involved are under 3 years of age) and the mother responds: "This isn't a democracy!"
What? She has taught her kids about forms of government, that by telling them "this isn't a democracy" they are able to determine it is some socialist situation or dictatorship? Maybe it was a kingdom or some fuedal arrangment?
My daughter is nine, should I feel bad that I haven't worked on her social studies skills already?
