Sadly, my Chicane boots had some failures, so I returned them to RIDEGEAR.COM and was going to pay the extra $25 to get some AVG Sebrings

but they messed up in shipping and sent me the better Laguna boots

but in blue instead of red. I wanted blue to match up with the blue on the Corona jacket.
While I was waiting for the boots, I got some new boots of Ebay, for the great low price of $65 plus shipping. I got some SETUP boots (www.setup1.com). They look nice and fit well. I got these:
and they normally go for $129Lastly, to improve the red outfit and after reading that gauntlet style gloves will provide th ebest protect of the wrist, I got some of these gloves at my local CYCLEGEAR.COM store, we have one in north Houston.
.I got a tighter size, as I also learned since I bought my first pair, all street gear should fit tight, and I bought my last pair for comfort. When you go down, you want everything to stay in place and do its job, not slide and show "you" to the road. I often attach my pants to my jacket, since the pants are big, that should keep them on my butt should I go sliding in a weird way.
When boot shopping, be sure to check for interier hard protection of ankle area. A lot of boots have something on the outside to protect your ankle agianst the road should you go down, but what protects your ankle when your 300+ lb hot motorcyle goes down on your leg in a lowside?
My new slogan - Remember, skin comes off much easier than it goes on!
