I'm a Science teacher in ANONYMOUS ISD, north of Houston, Texas. I made a career switch and went through an Alternative Certification Program and began teaching in fall of 2003. I spent the 2005-2006 school year doing one year of extreme professional development. I was also one of 3 US teachers to visit Tajikistan in the Spring of '06. 5th and 8th period look like all my classes last year. BEFORE KATRINA. (I got so sick of people blaming it on that as if I had some kind of amnesia or became stupid). Curently, my classes are tiny. I'm enjoying it while it lasts.
