Day started out good, its the last day of school and I get to wear shorts to work, and if you know me, that's a pure simple pleasure for me. I think I even stopped for a kolache before school. Got to work, saw all my friends, all was good. Then the chopping block was pulled out and friends were let go and enemies were kept! I was one of the few who already had next year predetermined so my life didn't depend on the letter in the envelope. If you open the envelope and the first words were "Congratulations", all was well. If you saw something else, you need to look for a new school!
We comforted those who didn't get the letter they wanted. A small group went to Taco Cabana, and all confused people had margaritas, happy people had soda. We laughed and bitched and imitated people for about almost two hours. 3 o'clock rolled up and everyone parted their ways.
My pal Dylinski got the wrong letter! We went to play trivia (since we had talked about it for a year, Brier too, talked about it) and I convince her to let me beat her in some trivia. We played and we won the first three games there, then all the questions about country music or Chris Rock came on and we became happy finishing in the top ten. On the games we won, we actually placed in the top 200 in the NATION! After 5+ games and three RootBeers, it was time to point her south and me go north.
Met up with wife at home and then we eventually head out to Salt Grass for a very light dinner. Sylvia is a "non-land creature meat" eater, so she wanted the salad with salmon on it and I got their Chicken Tortilla Soup, the best CTS I know of! All is still well, we get home, start up the staircase, just 15 feet from front door and all hell breaks loose. "Who did you play trivia with?" 'Daniel' "Oh, you had a date?" 'No, it wasn't a date, it was trivia with a friend' "It was a date, I know all the signs, I've seen this all before" --- I found myself in the middle of some bad Lifetime Channel movie. Help me Dr. Phil!
Part of my CD order from AMAZON.com came in. One was absolutely fantastic. Best way to call it is relaxing or happy music, with a hint of India. Its by an artist called ANJALI. If you are interested, 'get me a blank!'
Today is "Spring Cleaning Day"
Clean under the bed, clean my desks, and across the River Styx to the GARAGE! I just brought home school stuff, 4 car loads, and I think she wants it alphabetized, arranged by barcode or something like that! Can you hear the violins playing pity music?
The Three Musketeers or the 3 Stooges? You tell me!

Don't forget that your wonderful son-in-law-to-be offered to let you store some stuff at his new apartment. (Such as things you are being forced to throw away that you really want to keep, like any of our childhood stuff or other items)
