The weekend

It was quite a full one.
SAT - had to be in Huntsville for a 10am College Graduation Ceremony of my 19 year old daughter, ASHLEY

Then we headed to Woodlands for wonderful lunch @ Chef Chans. A day of shopping, and got some new stuff for aquarium. We got two more snails, named Gary and Banana. We got an african dwarf frog (its an aquatic species), and 5 Neon Tetra, and all five were eaten by sunday morning. They weren't bought to be fish food!

Dinner was at Jason's Deli and then McKenzie and I got some gingerale to make our own sodas at home. Its a great base to add your own flavoring to. A pixie stick in a small glass of gingerale flavors quite well! We finished the evening by watching CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN. Sylvia just died when the dog attacked the underwear!

SUN - going to Caldwell for celebration Bar-B-Q for Ashley's incredible accomplishment. For those who don't know, she quit high school after her freshman year to start college at 15. She did one year at Mary Baldwin College in Stanton, Virginia, and then did the last 3 at Sam Houston State; she only had 1 B on her entire transcript, graduating Summa Cum Laude at the young age of 19!

Got to see my son. I really am happy when all three of my kids are in the same place at the same time and its not Christmas. Got to see all my ex-brother and ex-sister "in-laws". Was real nice, hadn't seen most in over 10 years. Then we headed to Huntsville to drop McKenzie off. She was hungry and wanted Pizza Hut - Cheese pizza, since she's not really a bar-b-q eater, so a stop in College Station. Sylvia was on a quest for a pecan tree, so we continued driving with a stop in Roans Prairie to buy some honeysuckle for our garden. Then we stopped in Shiro for a Birdhouse for near our garden. Think we'll end the evening with a DVD movie.
