Don't want to start review of final since they won't give me the key yet. So since we aren't teaching, edutaining. 2nd period saw some of Dirty War but DVD crapped out. Then we had a fire alarm pulled. During the alarm, a peer two doors down had a kid pull the safety shower, and substitute did not see it, so it ran long enough to flood that room and neighboring room. We finished with some SouthPark. 3rd period was weird because we had two extra classes in my room at odd times. Showed Human Mutants, but the kids really didn't watch, so after lunch went to Extreme Dinosaurs, it did a little better. 4th period was mine and another teacher's classes, of course few of the 'guest' watch, but mine know these documentaries are pretty cool. This one was from the BBC (as usual) How to Sleep Better. I tried to explain they needed to stay awake for this one, but still had 4 heads down at any random time!
Got accepted offically into Rice Lab for summer. Get 4 weeks experience in Nanotechnology related research lab in June/July. Watch for photos during that time.

Just to let you know, that little cherub of mine who pulled the shower is now suspended and received a $3000 fine for damages (thats what I heard anyway).
The angel who pulled the fire alarms today during advocacy was also one of mine. In my defense, I haven't had him in class since December...not that he wasn't supposed to be there all this time.
