Somehow my eight year old daughter said to her mom and apparently some other party "my dad and Sylvia are going to get divorced soon". Some other party, who spoke to my wife quoted her as saying "my dad is planning a divorce".
My daughter just would love to have me to herself...I don't know what she said to who and and when, but my wife had to ask me if I was "planning something".
Bad sign for her to think there is any possibility of it!
See, I haven't been putting up with her at night, so to her, we are having problems, to me she's the same old thing, I just the new "I'm watching TV, I don't want to hear that story about NPR because I listened a total of 3+ hours today and heard two or three times already...I'm watching this show!" My wife you see, doesn't have the ability to not say what is on her mind...unless I make her so mad she doesn't want to talk at all...there is no in between, so I now get to that point very fast. So when I said "shut up or I'm going to throw the ottoman at you" she actually is trying to act like that is a 'threat'! Who throw ottomans in a room that has a 42" plasma TV in it....not me!
