Friday - At Rice the Children's Museum consulted with us teacher about a future exhibit on Nanotechnology. I had a lot of fun with that project and have volunteered for future assistance. Sylvia, McKenzie, Pat and Corey and I all went to Caldwell for wedding rehearsal and dinner. Was a late night, got in about midnight.
Saturday - Wedding. Everything went good in my opinion. Reception was nice and I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures. Spent the night at Surrey Inn in Caldwell.
Sunday - Started the day swimming at pool with McKenzie. Checkout and then headed to College Station to IHOP. McKenzie got possessed by a demon while I was in restroom so Sylvia has disassociated with her for now. I have to be DAD and MOM until further notice. Dropped of McKenzie and then spent the rest of day learning all the mistakes I made during last 72 hours. We washed the Land Rover.
Monday - Back at Rice. Followed around in lab, was slow day as my grad student was busy with non-lab duties in preperation for June 20th visit by NSF (Nation Science Foundation). Bought a computer at Fry's for Christopher and erased Linux, installed XP and other useful software, will put his burner in it Tuesday and then he should be a happy user. Got oil change and car wash on Scion. Started to watch season two of DEAD LIKE ME.
Tuesday (today) - Went with Karl Kruger to see him run sample on HPLC in the other lab. His project is the one with the cadmium selenide nano-dots and fluorescence. Have safety meeting today.
