Compaq N610c laptop - circa 2003, upgraded to 1 gig ram
Got 32 bit version of Windows 7 Ultimate running on it, then installed Itunes, so that I can tether via Iphone for internet access.
Looks nice, works nice. Probably will perform as well as or better than those $300 netbooks. Seven year old battery, got to find replacement or try the open and replace parts I saw on youtube!
