Right lens and right flash for the job

McKenzie and I spent Wednesday in town (Houston). We went to the Houston Museum of Natural Science, including a visit to their Cockrell Butterfly Center. I photographed the butterflies, other insects (above), a few fish and some gems/minerals. McKenzie asked me to try to photograph "Nemo". We were pleased with the results!

We then went to a fish store, and got two Mollys (or would it be mollies). Then we went to an telescope shop and I got the attachment to allow me to directly connect my big digital camera to the back of my telescope. I tried it out on Jupiter. Unfortunately over exposed to didn't get any detail on the planet. The dot not labled is a star in the background. The labeled items are the four major moons of Jupiter.

As always, click any image for a larger view of it!
