How is my new teaching assignment different than before?

I was asked by a teacher from where I used to teach, how was it at my new school after one week.

I just rambled off a list of things from the top of my head:

45 minutes classes go by fast

its nice to see the kids everyday

its strange to have classes with 100% attendance during the first week

almost no one is tardy

you tell the kids to read at home and over half do!

over 1/2 my students have blue eyes

my neighboring science teachers come to me for advice, listen, use it and Thank me for it

if I invite my APs or Principal to my room to see something - they show up!

We got fancy copy machine that seem to never break and have six colors beside white available, and it can even punch holes in the paper for three ring binders

I have a coteacher come everyday to one of my classes to help out because I have 8 kids in there of different learning abilities

every class room has ceiling mounted projector, hooked up to our classroom pc, and they give us a remote control so we can walk around the room doing out powerpoints and such

they are worried about science Taks scores, because it is the lowest of the subjects, at 89%

You must MUST get an interwrite pad to go with your fancy new projector - trust me on this.
