We got everything (utilties) here, phone, electricity, cable, water.
My parents and sister are currently without electricity.

I guess we have storms coming, or lots of rain, at some point.

I hate watching the news, the fake banter between the desk anchors and the guys in the field, they always ask them the stupidest questions. Also, the anchors will ask officals their interviewing the most unable to answer questions, because they ask for a specific detail, like "What time exactly should everyone head home?" "How many people are without power" and the anchor that isn't talking is always nodding 'yes' and smiling, regardless if it good news or a building on fire!

Then they gave all these field reporters hand held wind meters, and they read off the numbers to you: "its 5, 6, 7, 11, 7, 5, well as you can see it varies, and we've seen it all the way up to to 23" 23mph, for 1.2 seconds - "OHH - AHH!"
