Well, the day after the 2nd bombing attempt in London, we left for London. We had a great time, saw many things. Unfortunately, seems I generally had the camera on wrong days. When we visited museums that I figured would allow them, I did have it, but they did allow, and vice versa. I shot digital and slides, so I still have ot send the slides in. We saw most of the major sites, visited most of the major museums (2-3 hours each), and actually spent little money doing that, as many site are FREE!
The two expensive days were where we took tours. We did a "your on your own" train trip tour to Brussels in Belgium. We got passes to ride the double decker tour bus and did that to see the major buildings and wondered around to see the peeing statue (manakin piss)
Our other big day trip was a triple feature: Windsor Castle, City of Bath, and my ultimate dream - STONEHENGE
